Approximately 400 kilometres from Hanumangarh, on the banks of the Ghaggar River—also known as the Ancient Sarasvati River—is the city of Hanumangarh, which is located in the northern Rajasthan state of western India. Because king Bhupat built the city in 255 AD, it was formerly known as Bhatner. It was eventually taken over by Maharaja Soorat Singh of Bikaner, but it was still ruled by the Rajputs of the Bhati dynasty. Hanumangarh is a popular destination for both Indians and foreign visitors, as it is opulent and appealing to lone travellers. Many visitors to Hanumangarh City have a particular fondness for the girls of Hanumangarh.
